“To Hill, We Were All ‘Human Earthlings’ “

This article from a Richmond, VA newspaper describes civil rights attorney Oliver Hill’s take on the subject of differences among people. Yes, most of his cases involved discrimination toward Black Virginians. But his advocacy was built around the concept of equal opportunity for all “human earthlings“. Think about the genius of that simple construct. If you’re a human earthling, you have a set of basic rights and responsibilities. Of course there are differences among individuals, but none so profound that they justify discriminatory policies and practices  CHECK IT OUT
